Recently, GON Chemical (Dongming) successfully completed its first-time startup of its 50,000 Ton/Year Methyl Styrene Plant, achieving product purity exceeding 99.75%, exceeding industry standards. The successful commissioning of this plant signifies a significant improvement in the company's independent production capabilities and market competitiveness in the field of high-end new materials.

The plant utilizes innovative reactor design and fully automated control to significantly improve single-pass raw material conversion and operational stability. Its stepped energy consumption design enables efficient utilization of reaction exothermicity and waste heat, reducing overall energy consumption by 10% compared to similar plants. Addressing the industry challenge of polymerization during the refining process of methyl styrene, the plant innovatively utilizes full-process falling-film evaporation, high-flow, low-pressure-drop internals, and ultra-high vacuum separation technology, resulting in a stable product purity exceeding 99.7%. This technology also reduces polymerization losses during the refining process, resulting in a 30% reduction in tar loss compared to the industry average.

Recently, the company's "Polymer Materials Smart Factory" project successfully passed the Qingdao Municipal Expert Review and was awarded the Qingdao City 2025 "Advanced Smart Factory" certification. This marks the company's upgrade from a "digital workshop" to an "advanced smart factory" in its digital transformation process, injecting new impetus into its high-quality development. The "Polymer Materials Smart Factory" has built an intelligent system encompassing R&D and design, flexible production, precise control, intelligent warehousing, and supply chain collaboration, achieving deep interconnection and intelligent decision-making across the entire polymer materials manufacturing process.
