On October 13, GON and its subsidiaries signed an agreement with the City University of Hong Kong (Professor Lv Jian’s innovation team) to establish an "industry + research" green energy innovation consortium.
The collaboration utilizes the Hong Kong R&D center to focus on "PV cooling for efficiency" and "low-energy lithium extraction from seawater." The cooling technology can boost power generation efficiency by 10%-20% while recovering freshwater. The lithium extraction method achieves a rate of about 31.7g m-2 day-1, providing a green pathway for lithium supply.
The project has completed lab tests and entered the pilot stage. This partnership accelerates the industrialization of the technology, helping GON expand in high-value sectors and strengthen its position under the "dual carbon" strategy.
